Now I'm not a fan of Miley Cyrus (nor do I listen to any of her songs or know what the deal is with Hannah Montana) but I heard a cover of the song on Youtube (while I should've been studying :P) and really liked the lyrics. (On another note, don't you think the Jonas Montana version is the best? LOL) And if you're interested, here's the link to the cover :)
I can almost see it
That dream I'm dreaming but
There's a voice inside my head saying,
"You'll never reach it"
Every step I'm taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking
But I gotta keep trying
Gotta keep my head held high
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I'm gonna to have to lose
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
The struggles I'm facing,
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes might knock me down
But no, I'm not breaking
I may not know it
But these are the moments that
I'm going to remember most yeah
Just gotta keep going
And I, I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on
'Cause there's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes I'm gonna to have to lose
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
There's always going to be another mountain
I'm always going to want to make it move
Always going to be an uphill battle,
Sometimes you going to have to lose
Ain't about how fast I get there,
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb
Keep on moving, keep climbing
Keep the faith baby
It's all about, it's all about the climb
Keep the faith, keep your faith

Map the Soul ♬
Pieces of You -- Tablo
My heart was closed. Cold.
I was self-conscious and cynical.
These are the pieces of my youth,
the small secrets and the not-so-great expectations
that defined my coming of age.
But through this craft, through my love for writing,
I discovered a world outside of the small windowless one
I had built for myself.
A world of soft spoken beauty
So here I am,
choosing to kick away the ladder
so that I may remain at your side.
I understand your solitude
I see your shadow.
Not only is Tablo a great musician and lyricist, he can write too D: I'm seriously considering buying this book. I'm already hooked by the intro!
On another note, I need to find another job... education comes with high costs ^^;

화이팅?
I dislike being emo yet it's so easy for me to become this way =T Ever had that feeling when you just want to hide under a rock and become anti-social? I feel like that right now but it's difficult to do especially at this time. People around me are going through rough times with friends, family and themselves that it's hard to say no... especially when I want to be there for them. And the fact that a particular guy thinks he "needs" me doesn't exactly lower my stress level =_= With finals during the next 2 weeks, it makes me wonder how I can do this. Distractions, distractions -- I would really like to get rid of my cell as well as my Internet connection but in reality, it's just not possible. I need to focus NOW. How do you guys deal with stress and distractions?

DAY 2
I was awaken by another phone call this morning (this time from someone I knew) and I admit I was a little mean on the phone. I was feeling groggy yet my friend wanted to talk so I let him =/ Anyway, my energy has been kind of low for the past month now so my doctor suggested that I get some blood work done tomorrow. Honestly, it's kind of a relief to go in for testing as there were several occasions when I would wonder if anything was wrong with me other than the usual. I've also started taking my vitamins and writing again. I just want to be how I used to be - motivated, determined and optimistic about everything in life - truly happy and smiling from the inside out.
During the past two nights, I've been dreaming of Korea and of Oppa~ I must really miss him. Sigh, but I'm really happy that I'll be seeing Beky and Resa very soon. I've been missing them a lot as well :(
Once again, I'd like to say that I'm thankful for all of you for being the caring, selfless and loving people you are. Sometimes I don't think I deserve it; I'm so lucky to have you all as friends. And to Jen, thank you for all your support and for being there every step of the way ♥

... 什么?
This morning I was randomly awaken by the ringing of my cell phone. Thinking it was a friend, I pressed answer and sheepishly grumbled a hello. That was when the female voice on the other line cheerfully responded with a "喂,你说中文吗?" Confused, tired and not in a state to speak in Mandarin, I said hello once again. Unfazed by my English response, she repeated her previous question. At this point, I began to get slightly irritated and asked, "Who is this?" However, after saying that, she hurriedly muttered sorry in English and hung up. I have 2 questions: 1) Who calls someone to ask if they speak Chinese? and 2) Where did she get my number?

Whatever Flies Your Plane
Thanks to Jen, I had an awesome night last night! I finally met her Taiwanese friend, Edward, and we ended up going for dinner and drinks at Ebisu. According to Ed, I am the female version of him, LOL. We definitely have to hang out again! Good times yo~
P.S. Please ignore the strange texts/phone calls from me last night, thanks ^^;;
