2 Years Can Change Everything

Goals, dreams, personalities... and physical appearances. But the more important question here is: While everyone else has been changing, have I changed all that much?

ETA: I just went through all the entries in my Korea blog again and could almost picture and feel the excitement of each event ^^

Things Unseen

I'm sorry. I've been living for myself when I should've been making You my focus. I don't know what I'm doing or where I'm going but do know that as long as I have faith, everything will fall into place. I need to stop thinking 'when will it happen to me?' and be patient 'cause I've learned that opportunities come when the timing is right. It's by faith, not appearance nor my own feelings.

Life After The Olympic & Paralympic Games

Au revoir: I said my final goodbyes to the remaining co-workers on Sunday. Although it was bittersweet, I'm sure we'll meet again... at least the ones I've become close with (in fact, I'll be seeing some of them on Thursday and will probably end up taking classes with others!) The past 6 weeks at the Media Centre have felt a bit surreal - sometimes you have so much down time that you just sit and plan out your future. It's a topic I've been trying to avoid but it's been good talking with my co-workers who are in similar situations as I.

The good & the bad: Bad news - I'm not graduating in October anymore (re-calculated my credits) and will most likely be either travelling and/or doing another coop term in fall after summer school. Good - I found some travel buddies as well as friends who are seriously planning to teach in Korea :)

I took my (slack) coop job for granted: I went right back to work at the physio clinic on Monday and immediately felt slightly peeved with the amount of work that hadn't been done. Let's just say that the new employees aren't really pro-active and don't prioritize very well -_- My original 4 hour shift become an 8 hour one due to someone not showing up (I hope it doesn't happen again!) I'm worried but can only pray that things will change once they've all been trained. I feel like I've become a workaholic; however, it has it perks in that I won't become lazy during my 1.5 month break & I'll have more $$ in my savings account for a rainy day ;)

Let's get down to business: I need to
- send out mail (sorry! i'm 3 months late)
- clean my room (semi-clean now)
- do laundry (especially the clothes I forgot I bought)
- exercise (I've only been to the gym once in 2 months)
- re-learn how to put outfits together (wearing a uniform 6 days a week screws up your coordinating skills)
- fix my sleeping schedule (obviously I should be in bed now)
- look into language classes (research on prices and locations)
- write more (blogs, I have missed you)
- do devotions daily
- start & finish coop presentation (and write-up, if any)
- smile, breathe and drink 6-8 glasses of water per day

Transitions

Alice came to the fork in the road.
“Which road do I take?” she asked.
“Where do you want to go?” responded the Cheshire cat.
“I don’t know,” Alice answered.
“Then,” said the cat, “it doesn’t matter."
