Home Is Where The Heart Is

We've been having nothing but rainy days in Vancouver so today was a pleasant treat. Although it was cold, the sun was out and there were blue skies overhead. It was so clear that you could see the snow-covered mountains that surround the city in the distance. While riding the skytrain on my way to class, it was the first time I acknowledged this place where I've lived for 15 years as home. Now I can honestly say that this is where I belong and where I can be myself. Even if I move away later on in life, Vancouver will still be home :)
